Modern and sustainable

The terminal in Greve has a significant environmental profile with solar cells on the roof, which runs the daily energy consumption. At the same time, we achieve a better energy utilization, which means that we use our resources far better.

In line with our ambition to drive only CO2 neutrally in 2025, we are continuously increasing the number of our electric vehicles. Therefore, the terminal is equipped with charging stations so that we can create a better flow in the number of electric vehicles on the street.

We are very much looking forward to moving into this new, modern terminal. One that is completely adapted to service the e-commerce of the future and that also fits with our environmental profile.

Flexibility and faster delivery times

The terminal measures 14000 m2 and includes, among other things, a new sorting belt, which is built to handle larger fluctuations in volumes that we experience in connection with, for example, Black Friday and Christmas.

- This increased capacity allows us to manage the large volumes much more efficiently and ensures that we can continue to grow as the e-commerce increases. At the same time, it offers completely new opportunities to develop our services, says Per Buus.

The choice of location for the terminal was well considered both in terms of access and for the delivery of parcels. With an increased capacity, we can now gather three distribution sites in one place. This not only reduces the number of kilometers we must drive, but it also ensures shorter delivery times.

Attractive workplace

The terminal is built with a focus on security. There's a clear separation between the pedestrians and the driving traffic via footbridges. This helps to reduce unnecessary traffic in and around the terminal, which means that our employees can feel safe as they move around the area.

The bright and welcoming offices are designed so that our employees experience fewer disruptions, which helps to ensure a good working environment and improves the indoor climate.

- We feel responsible for the health of our employees, which is why it was important to involve the employees right from the start when selecting the furniture, materials, wall colors and the facilities. We've also, from the very beginning, had a big desire to have some training facilities on site, which is why we're very pleased that we could create a fitness room where our employees can work out when they have the opportunity to do so, concludes Per Buus.
